Dr. Danielle Rice is a clinician-scientist with St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and an assistant professor at McMaster University in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences. She has published more than 125 peer-reviewed papers over the past 10 years and has engaged in research and program development for organizations such as Health Canada, Canadian Institutes for Health Information, The Ottawa Hospital, and Scleroderma Canada. Dr. Rice has experience conducting a variety of health systems and health policy focused work, with specific expertise in mental health and addictions. She values improving the healthcare system, engaging in and consulting on evidence-based practice, and conducting high-quality patient-centered research that aligns with best practice recommendations.
